Applying for membership of Pembrokeshire Yacht Club should be a simple and straight forward exercise.

Choice of Forms
Firstly, thank you for your inquiry:
Please be sure you completed the correct and current set of forms.
When completing your form, please ensure that all entries are clear and legible, particularly your E-mail address and telephone contact number.
You have a choice of 3 options when making your application:
1, You can apply by completing the digital form set and submit it online. This needs to `be completed in one session, as you don’t have the facility to save and return to the form later to complete.
2, If you prefer a paper version of the form, then you are able to download a printable version of the form set and submit a scanned copy by email, hard copy by Royal mail or by hand to the Club bar during normal Club opening time.
3. Paper form sets may be collected in hard copy from the Club bar; these may be returned by any method as shown in option 2. Above.

Completion of Forms and Fees
Please complete the whole form including the Direct Debit Mandate. If you are not applying for boat storage, then that whole section can be left blank.
A named proposer and seconder for your submission is not mandatory. However, it will help speed up the administrative process of you application if you do have two qualifying existing members supporting your application.
The Club’s year is from 1st October to 30th September, the following calendar year. Your membership fee covers full membership for the named applicant and social membership for the rest of your immediate family, including children up to the age of 18 years. However, should any social family member wish to participate in any of the club’s activities using club equipment etc. then they are required to become full Club members in their own right.
As you are applying to join part-way through a club year, your first fee will be as shown on the annex to the application form set. Please pay this initial joining fee by a card transaction at the Club Bar or by bank transfer direct into the Club’s Bank Account.

It is a mandatory requirement that all Club fees going forward must be paid by Direct Debit. Please ensure that you complete in full and return the DD mandate form with your application.
Boat Parking
If you require and are also applying for Boat Parking, please note.
Boat parking is not an automatic right of any member of the Club. Space in the compound is limited, and we frequently have a waiting list for the allocation of boat storage spaces.
The best we can offer is to register your need with the boat parking officer and review your application for boat storage going forward. Boat storage fees will be treated separately to your membership and will be set and agreed with you, prior to the allocation of a storage space for your vessel.

Following receipt of your Initial membership fee, we will then commence processing your application. This can take up to 21 days before completion is reached and you receive your letter of notification and membership card.
